The unit is designed with annular pressure reducing clearance and impeller balance holes to minimize axial thrust. Features include bronze fitted constructions with bronze shaft sleeves with an option for a stainless steel shaft and sleeve. Gauge taps at the suction and discharge connections result in ease of operational status monitoring, and pumps are configured for easy maintenance.
