Design features include a cast iron body with a corrosion resistant stainless steel float and seat assembly.While the system is in operation and under pressure, there is an automatic float operated valve designed to release accumulated air from the piping system.To decrease start-up time during system filling, a valve cover is fitted with a ½” N.P.T. plugged connection that can be fitted with a manual valve.
