A trusted system for tank protection is the porcelain coating added to the steel tank interior. These tanks include a 1-1/4” nominal pipe thread spud on top for motor mounting or retention tank connections ,a ¼” switch or gauge tapping on the air side of the tank along with a full size 1-1/4” connection at all locations where it is needed.
