PCW COMPAC ELECTRIC
This system is designed to fit through a 30” door allowing it to fit where a fuel fired boiler cannot. If a larger cabinet is required for extra options, a customized assembly to provide the boiler in a knock down condition will intact the configuration advantages that are synonymous for the PCW retrofits and where venting a fuel fired boiler is impossible.
The unit can communicate with any building management system and adding a SCR to the control package allows for almost infinite modulation. Some options include an integral main power disconnect to meet NEC doe for resistance heating equipment, along with construction under ASME Section I/VIII for high temp hot water applications.
Each heating element is fitted with a 2-1/2’’ square mounting flange in the head of the vessel which provides easy maintenance and reduces downtime. The step circuit enable/disable switch limits boiler max firing rate when other high priority electric loads are peaking and SCR can be added to the control package for delivery of 100:1 I turndown to precisely follow heating load while decreasing energy usage. Additionally, installation costs are reduced, and completion sped up as vent stack, breeching and combustion air louvers are not required. Units available with BACnet and MODbus communications for remote control and monitoring.
